Transaction in Own Shares

McBride plc (the "Company") announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 10 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") through Peel Hunt LLP (the "Broker").

The Company will purchase the above Ordinary Shares through the Broker on the London Stock Exchange (the "Purchases") and will subsequently cancel them.

Such Purchases form part of the Company's existing buyback programme and were effected pursuant to the non-discretionary agreement entered into with the Broker, as announced on 1st December 2025.

Following the Purchases and cancellation of these Ordinary Shares, the Company will have 176,646,736 Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares), hold 42,041 Ordinary Shares in treasury, and have 594,610,458 non-cumulative redeemable preference shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company ("B Shares") in issue. B Shares carry no rights to attend, speak or vote at Company meetings, except on a resolution relating to the winding up of the Company.

Once the Ordinary Shares are cancelled, the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 176,646,736. This figure may be used by shareholders of the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in the Company pursuant to the Disclosure and Transparency Rules (the "DTRs").

The Company confirms that, in accordance with DTR 5.5.1R, following the Purchases the percentage of voting rights attributable to the Ordinary Shares held in treasury is 0.02 per cent.
